on **.**.**** I approached and requested the Uber Cab Co. for a Cab service in advance for **.**.**** at **.** a.m. for attending a train journey from Howrah Station, Kolkata (India)for an important prescheduled programme. On **.**.**** prior to **.** a.m. morning I got the message about the car and driver details including the driver's ph. no: I contacted the driver, who said , he would be arriving in time to the proper location to pick me up. I waited there for as long as ** minutes. Several times I repeatedly I tried to contact with the driver, who did not respond and finally not appeared . Immediately I cancelled the ride and searched for another cab. But due to my locational disadvantages no nearby cab or taxi became available so as to ensure me to catch the train in rest of the time. As a result I had to cancell the prescheduled train journey and my prescheduled programme and had to bear the loss including the train ticket, which could not be cancelled besides other expenditures as well as I had to bear the mental agony and tension. As I and my wife, the co-rider are the senior citizens felt hard to bear the tension and mental agony. This type of experience I never had from this sort of highly esteemed Cab Company and went beyond my all expectations. Please arrange to recover at least the financial loss, although other allied losses and damages are beyond coverages.
