Make my trip - Bus Cancelled but my refund req is cancelled

I have booked * tickets in a bus from banglore to rameshwaram. It cost me **** rs. On the day of journey I received a text that trip is cancelled because of bus breakdown. I called the bus operator and he told me the same. So i spoke to mmt customer care and they told me to cancel the bus which i did. But later they rejected the request that bus was not cancelled.
