I have taken a housing loan from BHFL for Rs. **Lakhs and after *years(approximately), I prepaid the entire outstanding amount of loan in February ****. However, I was denied giving Orignal Documents of loan stating that I have taken a flexi loan/personal loan for which I need to clear the *Lakhs outstanding amount. When I was given the flexiloan, the representative never mentioned that there is any link between House Loan and FlexiLoan. I closed the FlexiLoan too and after lot of writing emails - I got my Original Documents. I required those Original Documents for a mortage and since, BHFL withheld the documents, I suffered a lot. For * months I was not given my property original documents.
