This is regarding an order that I placed with Zomato through Zomato app today at *:** pm order ID: *********. I received first call from the delivery guy at *:** pm and last call at *:** pm after which he cancelled the order since I was not able to pick up his call. At exact *:** pm, I called the delivery guy to ask him where he was. I apologized to the guy up front as it was my mistake I was not able to attend his call. He responded so rudely to me and then said "mere ko sorry kehne ki zarurat nahi hai, pehle toh phone nahi uthati aur fir sorry mangti hai. Meine order wapis kar diya hai, ab jo karna hai kar. Customer support pe baat kar." I told that guy that I am apologizing to you and you are misbehaving. He said, "dont talk to me, talk to customer support." This guy just waited for * minutes and cancelled my order. There are so many times when a person could be busy somewhere else. I have a sick patient at my home and I was attending her. And I called him back just after * minutes of receiving his last call. When he had my complete address, why didn't he come to the address and delivered the order?
There are so many times that I just ignore the lack of services of Zomato. Twice I was delivered wrong order and several times the order is so much delayed that it's cold. I bring this to their notice through complaints so many times through Zomato's chat support but in vain. They just apologize and say that it will not happen again. I just ignore and do not escalate it. But this time, I lost my patience after the delivery guy responded so rudely. I would request you to kindly take necessary action against this company. Their service is worst and day by day it is getting horrible. Your prompt response will be appreciated.
