CA Shalabh Chandra filed complaint against PayTM on Jun 6, 2017
I have made one postpaid mobile bill payment of Rs. *** on **th may. But from my wallet it has been deducted twice at the same time i.e **:** pm, there is not even a * minute difference. Many times I made a complaint for the same in paytm but I didnt get a positive response till now. What has been told to me is that the payment has been made twice by you and it has been made successfully by your end. My question is whether Is it possible to do two transactions at the same time. Atleast *-* minutes time are required to do the transaction one after other. Surely, it is a technical issue from paytm end but I didnt get any solution. Being a frequent user of paytm I am not satisfied this time by the services by paytm & its my mistake that I have kept balance in my wallet because if the balance would not be there then definitely payment could not be made twice. These incidents make the customer dissatisfied obviously and in the competitive market of India where there are many different alternatives are available customers tends to shift to the same after having incidents like this. For your reference I am attaching the screenshot of mobile payment.
After complaining the same thing again and again, I got same reply every time that payment has been made successfully to the vendor and nothing can be done now from their end. If the mistake and fault is of paytm then why should I concern about whether the payment has been done successfully or not, if I have not done the payment from my end then they have to reimburse it. Otherwise next time also they can make any payment from my wallet to the vendor and would not reimburse the same if it would be made successfully to the vendor.
