RAKESH CHATLA filed complaint against Amazon.in on Dec 15, 2017
hello team,
i am rakesh from hyderabad. this complaint is against the e-commerce giant amazon.in, from where, i bought "nikon d**** **.* mp digital slr camera on ** December **** worth Rs.**,***.**/- with order # ***-*******-*******.
on ** december ****, shipment was delivered to me with incorrect item. i received canon binocular instead of nikon dslr.
i was shocked to see the change in item and immediately contacted the amazon customer support to raise a complaint.
my complaint was registered and i was asked to wait for *-* business days for the investigation to be completed. within * business days, my complaint was closed stating that the case is released in favor of amazon and they cannot refund my amount for the wrong shipment.

i had been shopping with amazon since January **** and also did few major transactions, but never had such experience. I bought i phone * worth Rs.**,***/- in the month of april ****. as my previous purchase was success, I dared to buy dslr camera from amazon itself instead of purchasing it online. amazon india doesn't have the concern to contact me to provide the conclusion of my complaint as i had to chase them for the status update of my complaint. i am not sure where to go now. upon my friends suggestion, I am going ahead with the case-filing with consumer forum and also a police complaint.. please advise how to approach the consumer to register my complaint.
