i have recently purchased hp laptop from gigo bytes, solan (h.p.) on **th nov ****. i have got a white spot on my bottom left corner of the screen and it is only visible with a white background. i noticed this defect after a day of purchase. i told about this issue to the dealer and lodged the complaint on hp customer care on **th nov **** and sent them the snapshots of the dot. after this hp appointed an engineer for me and today on **th nov ****, they sent me a quotation with link in which they are showing rs. ***** which i have to pay for the resolving the problem and after clicking the link i have to do yes for the quotation after that only engineer will come. this is a manufacturing defect by the company then why will i pay for this. today i talked to the manager and sent him the same snapshots of the dot and after * hour they called me again and said to me that he will send this issue to higher authority and told me that it will take time and we can replace this but before they were saying, it can’t be replaced and it doesn’t come under warranty period, even when it’s just a week since i bought the laptop. from their response it seems that they are not interested in solving my problem and they are putting the allegations back on me for the manufacturing defect. that’s why they sent me the quotations. their authorities are not looking into the matter properly and i am feeling helpless because of this. i have spent **,*** on this laptop and now the company is not taking the responsibility of helping me and asking me to pay for their fault.
i want this laptop to be replaced, not to be open because this is the manufacturing defect by the company and within just * days i lodged the complaint.
