Asianet Communication Digital Tv - Unable to apply for 'Free To Air' channels

This complaint is related to TRAI’s Free to air basic channel pack. I was using Asianet Digital Cable TV service from long back and recently heard about TRAI’s new rule which gives authority to consumers to choose/elect their favourite channels and pay only for those. Also TRAI has provided a base pack which coast around *** rupees/month and cable provider will be telecasting ***-*** free to air channels. However I am unable to choose the base plan (free to air plan). The cable tv provider has a link where consumers should place their subscriber ID and can choose their plan (https://portal.asianet.co.in/registration/FREG***). Unfortunately Asianet did not included base plan option on their options. I reached to the customer care and came to know that, we consumers should choose any pack available on the site for this month, and we can change the current plan after next month. That means, Asianet is forcing consumers to pick any other pack except free to air one. This is really against consumer law I guess. Is there any possibility to file a case against them for violating TRAI’s rule of providing base pack,
