Himanshu Kalra filed complaint against Uber Cabs on Sep 10, 2018
an uber driver, driving a brown wagon r, number plate - mh ** n ****, on the western express highway, today evening, i.e. **.*.**** at *:** pm near growel mall, kandivali east, mumbai hit my car and caused damage to it.
i was driving my car today and maintaining my lane, the uber driver suddenly took a quick left turn into my lane without giving the indicator, without honking. i immediately pressed the break to avoid mine and his car colliding into a major accident and greater damage. as a result of his careless behavior and driving, he grazed the right side of my car's bumper and has caused damage. (picture attached)
what's worse is that the driver, who clearly was not driving in a straight lane, denied any wrong-doing and simply drove off. i am attaching a picture of the damage done to my car due by the driver, and i want strict action to be taken by against him. just to complete a ride, he not only risked my life and damage to my car, but also his life, his car, his passenger's life.
i demand that the uber driver pay for the repair of this damage done to my car, which will need a paint job, which we know if expensive, because i am surely not paying from my pocket for his mistake.
please help me in taking this driver off the road and help me in getting compensation for the damages done to my car.
