Siddharth Raj Patel filed complaint against PayTM on Oct 27, 2018
i was paying the exam fee for cat **** on ** september ****, through website https://iimcat.ac.in/per/g**/pub/***/asm/webportal/*/index.html?***@@*@@* of rs. ****.**, through paytm payment gateway and selected upi method for payment, after that, i entered my state bank of india linked googlepay upi id - account srajpatel.patel@okhdfbank (transaction id - oid********************@paytm (screenshot is attached)), after which money was deducted from my sbi bank account with sbi transaction id ( upi/dr/************/paytm/icic/paytm@icici/oi ) but the payment was not made complete and the beneficiary (iim cat ****) didn't got the money. i don't know why it happened but when the payment was just stuck at a point for ** minutes (of which i have attached screenshot also) meanwhile my was money debited from my bank account and payment wasn't complete. after that i contacted sbi customer care via email - support.upi@sbi.co.in, and they said they have credited the amount to merchant bank (i.e. icici bank) and payment is successful from there side. i have also tried to contact icici bank via email - , but didn't got any response yet. i have contacted paytm also via email - care@paytm.com, but they haven't responded even after ** days. i have also contacted iim cat **** via email - cathelpdesk@iimcat.ac.in, and they asked me to do the transaction again. due to all these things, i have lost my money but more importantly, i am really upset and mentally and psychologically very harassed and troubled by these companies. everyone is trying to run away from there responsibility.
few days ago, paytm called me on ** october **** and they asked me that i have asked for this query and whether the refund has been made or not and i replied that it didn't. after that they said that they will call me after a few hours, but they didn't. i think they know the case and still knowingly are running away from their responsibility.
i hope voxya will help me to have justice in this case.
