Freecharge - Top Up done instead of Data Recharge

I did recharge of rs. *** around * months ago. It was Internet Recharge. I opened the mobile version of Freecharge and entered my Phone Number and opened the plan list. In the list, I browsed for the Plan which was *** rs. and its benefits showed that I will get * GB Data per day for * months. I already had confirmed with the Operator about the Plan. Then I proceeded with the recharge and paid the money. At the Confirmation screen, the message showed that my Recharge is successful and I will get the said benefits. But the recharge was Top Up which I did not know at the time and went ahead with using the Internet. My balance was soaked up in a while and Internet stopped working. Next Day I called the Operator and asked them about the problem. He confirmed that the recharge was Top Up instead of Internet Recharge. Then I contacted the Freecharge about issue and they have been blaming me since that I selected the option of Top Up which is not possible if I select the Plan from List. I have been continuously trying to tell them that the fault is from their side but they keep blaming either me or the Operator. There has been no solution to my issue till now. It is the second time it happened to me when I recharge with freecharge. Instead of Intended Recharge they do the Top UP. And their Customer Service is adamant about their innocence. I have no screenshot of the message. Only Emails of Conversation which are around ***.
