Vodafone India - The Recharge showed successful but was not provided by the company

I have recharged via paytm on my Vodafone number ********** for rupees **. I got the message that recharge is successful and it gives me *.* paise per second on all local/national calls for ** days. But I was not being able to call anyone and then I called on Vodafone's customer care services. But they were telling me that the service I recharged was only for validity. They were not going give me any balance to call. I told them that then they should refund my money back. But they said it is not possible. But the message they send showed that I have main balance to call not only for validity. This is ridiculous and I really feel cheated.
