I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the contradictory instructions provided during my recent interaction for appearing the PMP exam.
Here’s what happened:
I was instructed to use my mobile phone to take pictures and provide my mobile number for contact if needed.
but it was said to keep the mobile outside my hand reach.
Once the alerm was ringing, I thought someone called from personvue and saw that alerm was ringing. So, just bend my head little bit and cut the alerm. I have not violeted any rule.
This contradiction in policy is confusing. On one hand, mobiles are supposed to be out of reach, yet I was explicitly asked to use mine and keep it accessible for potential contact. If mobiles are required to be outside the room, they should not be used for any purpose at all and this should be clearly defined.
Due to this lack of clarity, my mobile phone was in the room as instructed, my exam was being stopped. Now I need to pay a retake fees. This feels like an unfair and unnecessary penalty, especially when the issue stemmed from inconsistent and unclear instructions.
I strongly urge you to review this policy and provide a fair resolution to this matter, including waiving the retake fee. Policies should support customers, not create confusion or lead to unjust penalties.
I hope for a prompt and fair resolution.
