I had placed an order #************ which was supposed to be delivered in some ** minutes. Order was confirmed from restaurant side. I was tracking the status in between and saw one delivery guy got changed just after reaching restaurant. After ** minutes, still delivery time was showing ** minutes, second delivery guy reached the restaurant. After i raised an incident, within few seconds a customer service personnel with number +************ called and told me to cancel the order and place a new one as restaurant has already prepared it, and a new delivery boy is at the restaurant. Next i saw the order already cancelled and when i tried to place order again the restaurant showed unavailable. When i complained in swiggy chat another personnel said- We are sending back your debited money as a token.I mean, is this a joke?Since when is sending ones money back is a token?
Swiggy charges customers even if they cancel order a second late than the timer, but what about itself?
After all this fraud that happened with me today, I want compensation for all this stress time lost in following these.
This is deliberate negligence by customer care and lying when the time came for facing client and a clear case of fraud.
Even contacted swiggy by mail, but they copy paste their useless response-"We understand you're unhappy about the experience & will ensure this is worked upon to render a better service."
