Makemytrip.com - Spoiled the vacations steal my money

Hi.. I have booked a hotel/Homestay on **th nov **** from Makemytrip app for Goa for **th dec - **st dec **** and paid the complete amount of Rs ***** on the payment link provided by them. I had paid Rs. **** from my makemytrip wallet and rest of of the amount i paid through debit card. however i did not receive any booking confirmation till next morning ** AM so i made a call to the customer care department and then came to know that the amount paid was the partial amount as makemytrip wallet amount (i.e Rs ****) was not deducted due to some technical fault in their system. so i asked them to take **** more now and confirm the booking but they said that this booking stands cancel and you have to make a new booking and company will refund this amount within * days.
Now being a middle class citizen i cannot afford to make a new booking as i have little money left with me. Moreover the hotels price in Goa are very high at this time and they will go sky high once they refund my hard earned money which i cannot afford.

I have planned this trip with my wife after so much savings after a year of our marriage and i think it will not turn into reality because of this irresponsible behavior of makemytrip employees. I have raised this concern with makemytrip and its CEO but no body is helping us out. My money is with them and i have no other option apart from bearing all the loses whether its monetary or mentally.
