Agoda - Room not givenRefund

I booked Hotel Bhagirathi residency * rooms in agoda for * night stay. I booked before * weeks and made the payment also and got confirmation mail. As I got the confirmation mail, we directly went to that place, we were searching for the hotel location for more than * hours, number given by customer care was a wrong number. Finally we found the hotel, that person telling very cool that ur booking is cancelled, we are not taking any booking, see someother hotel and mail agoda for refund. How come they could say that during check in? They should have informed us before itself if it is cancelled. Now mailing for agoda for refund issue, but no proper response. Booking ID *********
