Dear Team,
I purchased a Bajaj Avenger *** Street from Kanchan Bajaj in the year ****. The vehicle details are correctly mentioned on the delivery challan (attached for reference), However, in the RC book, the vehicle name has been incorrectly mentioned as Bajaj Pulsar *** (RC copy attached).
This discrepancy was immediately raised with the dealer upon receipt of the RC book. From the dealer's side, I was informed that the matter would be checked with the RTO. Subsequently, the RTO manually corrected the vehicle name using whitener, updated it with a ball pen, and attested the correction with the RTO stamp.
Now, I intend to sell my bike. During this process, I noticed that on the RTO web portal, the vehicle name is still reflecting as Bajaj Pulsar *** instead of Bajaj Avenger *** Street (screenshot attached). Due to this mismatch, the prospective buyer is requesting a copy of the original purchase invoice reflecting the correct vehicle name along with the chassis and engine numbers, to be submitted to the RTO. However, I have came to know that Kanchan Bajaj dealership has been closed now due to which I am unable to obtain the invoice copy directly from dealer.
Hence, I request you to kindly check this matter on priority and share a copy of the purchase invoice at the earliest, to enable me to proceed with the sale and complete the RTO formalities
