Airtel - Requested for Broadband connection still no action taken.

I had requested for a broadband connection from Airtel app, in an hour or so and an agent contacted me, His name is Umesh Vishwakarma.
I gave him ***rs cheque and all required xerox of documents. He said the connection will be done in * days but no one responded, I tried to call Mr. Umesh but he rejects my call everytime I call him. I called him from other number and he pics up and says that "there's no connection in my area and it will take * days" .
It's been more than a week!! I am not receiving any confirmation call whether I will actually get a connection or not. Is this how Airtel works?? I am disappointed by Mr Umesh behaviour, he is not even answering my calls.
I request you to please take unnecessary action.
