Prachi Pandey filed complaint against Swiggy on Jan 3, 2024
I had placed on order at Estaa Sweets through Swiggy app on December **th, ****. For the payment, I had loaded my Paytm Wallet through my HDFC bank account and then paid to Swiggy via Paytm itself. I got a call from the restaurant that the item ordered is out of stock, which I reported to Swiggy Customer Care and they cancelled the order and initiated a refund. Usually refund takes seconds to be credited back to source account (Paytm wallet in my case) but it has been ** days and Swiggy keeps blaming it on Paytm saying that they has received the refund. I have contacted Customer Care of both Swiggy and Paytm multiple times but same reply by Swiggy that Paytm has received the refund and Paytm says they haven't. Two days back a Swiggy Customer Care Executive told that the refund was done by their end to Paytm bank and not wallet is why it is not reflecting. He reinitiated and asked me to wait for ** hours. After having waited for ** hours too, it was not done. I escalated to the supervisor of the Swiggy Executive I was chatting with and he assured that he has also reinitiated and it will be done in **-** hours. With ** days being passed, I don't want to wait anymore and file a complaint against then. I have shared both my HDFC bank statement (from which Paytm wallet was loaded) and Paytm wallet statement that clearly shows no refund. But each Swiggy executive replies like a bot that "refund has been credited to source account". When I ask them what is "source account" according to them they repeat the same statement like a BOT. PLEASE HELP!
