Intellipaat - Refusing to stop EMI

I enrolled in an Intellipaat course at the end of March, with EMI deductions scheduled to begin from May through a third-party finance provider. Before enrollment, Intellipaat’s counselor clearly assured me that I could discontinue the course anytime before the EMI start date, and that in such a case my EMI would be stopped and my refund would be processed without any issue.
However, after enrollment, I was pressured repeatedly through calls and a single email containing terms and conditions. I was pushed to accept these terms urgently and without proper explanation. Under this pressure, I replied “I accept” to the email. Intellipaat is now using that pressured acceptance against me to claim the course is non-refundable.
Intellipaat is refusing to stop my EMI or issue a refund, despite the counselor’s earlier verbal promises. The finance company has also stated that the loan amount has already been disbursed and that unless Intellipaat returns the money, my EMI cannot be stopped.
This entire process shows clear misrepresentation, false promises, and manipulation from Intellipaat. This is a violation of the Consumer Protection Act, **** under:
