Hello,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint against Intellipaat, IIM Ranchi, and Fibe (formerly EarlySalary) regarding the cancellation of my admission to an executive course and the subsequent refund process.
Despite repeated follow-ups over the past three months, I have not received the refund promised in written communication from Intellipaat, which clearly stated that the amount would be refunded to the loan provider by July *, ****. As of today, no refund has been initiated.
The issues I am facing are as follows:
Non-adherence to refund timelines: Despite written assurance, Intellipaat has failed to process the refund by the mentioned date.
Unethical pressure and false promises: I was pressured into withdrawing complaints I had filed on consumer grievance platforms by being told the refund would only be initiated if I did so. This tactic was coercive and disingenuous.
Lack of transparency and poor communication: Neither Intellipaat nor Fibe has kept me updated on the process. All communication has been casual, vague, and unprofessional, with multiple verbal promises that were never fulfilled. Multiple emails were sent to IIM Ranchi; however, no revert was received from the same.
Financial loss due to delay: An EMI bounced due to the delayed refund, resulting in penalties, additional interest, and taxes being levied on me. These were entirely avoidable and directly caused by the delay.
Operational cost deduction: A hefty ₹**,*** deduction was made citing operational charges, which I find excessive and unjustified, given the nature of the situation and the service not being rendered.
Ongoing harassment: Even after continuous follow-up, I am now being asked to wait another week, with no guarantee or accountability.
Requested Action:
Immediate refund of the course fee to Fibe (loan provider).
Investigation into the coordination and conduct of all three parties.
This experience has left me emotionally drained and financially impacted, and I now question the credibility of such collaborations in the online education space. I sincerely hope that appropriate action is taken at the earliest, failing which I will be compelled to escalate this matter further to the consumer court, media channels, and education regulators.
