Edterra edventures Pvt Ltd - Refund of Amount Paid

We came to know about an ** day trip organized to NASA by DPS Sector ** Gurgaon through an agency Edterra. In the letter received from school we were introduced to the Edterra and also process along with fee for the trip. We were asked to pay total of ***,*** for the trip in a phased manner. Initial registration fee of Rs **,*** out of which **,*** was non-refundable and then *,**,*** payable along with the visa documents and balance of **,*** after visa or ** days prior to departure.

Tentative dates for travel to NASA was in June ****.
We have paid registration and *,**,*** in order to apply for visa. However before we could get a visa appointment Covid restrictions came from US consulate and Govt of India regarding banning international travel.
Edterra and school informed us that the travel has been canceled and that there will be no trip to NASA in June. When we asked for refund the school asked us to coordinate with the Edterra directly. The school initially facilitated the discussions after that the discussions broke down. Edterra wanted to confirm if parents would agree to travel before Nov **** for a travel to any place in ****. Looking at Covid situations and due to uncertainty most of the parents agreed not to make their children travel outside the country even in ****. And asked for the refund of the entire amount. However Edterra has denied giving any refund saying they have booked tickets and hotels and hence cannot pay. They have not provided any proofs or any document in this regards and have not communicated for last * to * months. We want to go ahead with legal options now.
