BHAVESH GEHANI filed complaint against Make my trip on May 9, 2022
I had booked a To and Fro flight from Bengaluru to Maldives Dated *th of December ****. ( PNR No. ZB*KR AND Ticket no. being ***-**********). When me and my Wife reached airport the official at Bengaluru airport denied boarding to us since the Covid report was not getting Scanned and requested us to call for new report containing proper QR scan even though we both were fully vaccinated and also ICMR website was showing name of mine and my wife as Covid Negative and also it mentioned SRF ID as well .
We received the fresh QR report from the lab at *.** pm and flight departure was scheduled at *.** pm, however the officials denied boarding.
Since we were on our honeymoon we haven't created a mess at the airport otherwise we thought of filing an FIR and registering a court case against AIR INDIA who has caused so much mental agony.
When we returned back from Maldives at Bengaluru from Air India flight after being To and Fro Flight the officials provided a refund acknowledgment of the first flight we had missed . After few days I submitted documents to my travel agent (Rush cafe) and he told he has placed a request for a refund however no refund is yet issued by AIR INDIA.
I had a conversation with the AIR India representative may times and they are continuously telling me that only your agent ( MMT) hasn't uploaded any documents of refund yet.
Also here I have mentioned a link of times of India which covered the news of the havoc for your reference. I request to kindly look into the matter and provide me the refund amount as soon as possible and not to cause further mental harassment , otherwise leaving no choice to take legal help of advocate's and stretch the matter.
