Online Legal India - Refund not received

I paid an amount of INR****.** on Septemebr *, **** to Online Legal India as legal fee to take up a refund issue with a travel agency. Received an invoice for INR****. Had to make several calls and mails before a representative called four days later only to state that she would be lodging a complaint on my behalf in the cyber crime portal. As I had already lodged a compliant much earlier, I asked for a refund as they had no solution to offer. One Mr. Fardin, apparantly their escalation Agent called and stated that there would be no refund and the amount would remain as a credit in my account in their portal and I was free to use their services within a year. I insisted on a refund and was told that there would be **% cancellation fee. After much arguments, received a confirmation that there would be a cancellation fee of **% (for doing absolutely nothing) and an amount of INR **** would be refunded though the actual refund should be INR ****(****.** minus **% amounting to INR ***). Was provided a payment transaction ID (***********************************) claiming that the refund was issued on September **, ****. Neither has it got credited into my account nor has HDFC been able to trace any transaction with that ID.
I asked Mr.Fardin from Online Legal to provide the Transaction ID, Payee Bank details and date of refund which the is refusing to provide and insists I visit my Bank. How will HDFC check without any details being provided by Online Legal?
All calls to Online Legal have been futile where the Agents state that Mr.Fardin - their escalation expert will revert within ** hours. Mr.Fardin has a standard response asking me to go visit my Bank again but refuses to provide the transaction details.
