OYO Rooms - Refund not received for Booking after cancellation

series of events are as below :
*. booking done at oyo , booking id : JVQT****
*. called oyo customer care the next day after booking for cancellation and the agent who received the call said that he has cancelled the booking and the entire amount will be refunded.
*. on asking for the ticket number for cancellation , he said the booking id itself is your cancellation id, so no new ticket number is generated and you have to wait for few days to get the refund back to your source.
*. when we did not received the refund , we enquired at oyo and to our surprise they said the booking was not cancelled and we did the check-in in hotel.
*. the hotel later confirmed that there was no check-in done, so oyo said due to reservation already done and no cancellation was done so the amount can not be refunded.
*. we have provided them with the itemized call details from which we called (date / time ) and cancelled the booking.
*. we asked oyo to go through the recording which happens at their end, where the agent clearly assured us that the booking is cancelled and refund our money back.
*. we are receiving the same email communication from oyo again and again that there was no cancellation and on repeatedly asking them to listen to the recording they are not answering it and now mentally harassing us .
