This sequence of events amounts to:
• Misrepresentation of the accommodation and facilities promised at the time of booking and reconfirmation.
• Deficiency in service and failure to exercise reasonable care in vetting and monitoring listed property.
• Mental harassment and hardship caused to families travelling with children, whose vacation plans and one full day of the trip were effectively ruined despite incurring expenses running close to a six‑digit amount for the overall trip.
Details:
After a long journey with children and luggage, the hotel i booked onlinecategorically denied providing the promised AC rooms and effectively left us stranded on the road with our families and baggage. With no practical alternative at that time, we were compelled to accept non‑AC rooms that were in an unacceptable condition: the rooms were smoky and foul‑smelling, there was no staff attending to us, no blankets or towels were provided, and the bathrooms had open glass windows, which compromised our privacy and dignity.
I again contacted your customer service and i was kept on hold for more than an hour, and the so‑called “resolution” provided was wholly unsatisfactory and did not address either the misrepresentation of the room type or the deplorable room conditions.
