I have placed an order # ********** with zomato on *th June ****. Due to some reason I have immediately cancelled the order within a minute and received notification as order cancelled. I was expecting the amount will be refunded , when I had a chat with the representative & email they replied as they doesn't encourage the cancellation and the whole order amount of Rs. ***.** will be charged as penalty .When they doesn't cancel the order then what is the logic in having the cancellation option on app , this seems only to fool the customers & pocket their hard earned money , neither they have refunded the amount not the food order was delivered & same was raised to grievance redressal cell of zomato but no response .
I would request the concern to look into the case and get back my refund and also see that other people doesn't loose the money in this way.
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
