I am filing this complaint against MakeMyTrip (MMT) for deficiency in service, unfair trade practice, and wrongful withholding of my money amounting to ₹*,**,***.
Details of the Issue
I booked a hotel in Dubai (Taj Jumeriah Lake Towers) through MakeMyTrip on ** November **** and paid ₹*,**,***.
Due to a technical glitch on MakeMyTrip’s platform, the booking was modified automatically without my consent.
After the modification, a new booking was created, and later a third booking was automatically cancelled by MakeMyTrip, again without my approval.
Even though the cancellation was done entirely by MakeMyTrip’s system, they have not refunded my amount till date.
Customer support repeatedly provided fake / invalid refund request numbers, gave contradictory information, and did not provide any resolution.
Despite multiple follow-ups since ** November, the refund has not been processed, causing me significant financial stress and inconvenience.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
