Sudipto Das filed complaint against Thrillophilia Tour and travel on May 7, 2025
I had booked a trip to Almaty with Thrillophillia (PNR- BKDL**HONJL) on **th April **** for **th to **th May & paid **% advance of Rs.*****/-. On **th April afternoon I got a call from Mr. Harsh (Thrillophillia- Operations Team) whether we will be proceeding with our trip cause our itinerary & flight might be affected due to the Indo-Pak war like situation. (After our enquiry over call & whatsapp Mr. Harsh instantly confirmed that no activity/tickets have been booked in Almaty).
Instantly, I came to know that my Indigo flights to/from Almaty are cancelled. They have initiated full refund which I have already received. (Proof of cancellation attached)
Hence, on **/**/** only I E-mailed support team of Thrillophillia for cancellation of my trip. (Ticket ID- CSTRB*TCRRDTVCYB)- Please note cancellation requested after * day only.
Support team told me that they have paid for the hotels and there will be no refund, which is a complete lie. Cause I separately took up with the hotel in Mail & whatsapp and they confirmed that they are initiating full refund considering the flight cancellation and the emergency situation (mail screenshot attached)
The Thrillophillia support team did not agree that the flights to Almaty & Tashkent are cancelled by Indigo. (It literally feels they are aliens)
Mr. Harsh (From ground operations in Almaty) has further confirmed no ticket/activity has been booked in Almaty and asked us to proceed for cancellation request with the support team and to initiate full refund.
After more than a week of E-Mailing/connecting with Thrillophillia they are only saying that no refund can be processed.
I would like to understand what kind of resolution is this? I have * points to make:
Moreover, the hotel at Almaty has confirmed cancellation at Zero cost and no ticket/activity in Almaty was done. Hotels have given full refund and no other bookings were made then why I will lose Rs. *****/- for no mistake of mine. Is this the way how Thrillophillia makes money?
Thrillophillia should understand this is an abnormal emergency situation and not that I am cancelling my trip because of some personal issue.
After making payment no Thrillophilia agent will respond and entertain you. Support tickets are closed automatically.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
