Following up with MakeMyTrip since almost * months now (since **th Feb ****)...
AirAsia had cancelled my ticket & when I tried initiating for refund, I was informed that since I have booked via MakeMyTrip, I can only apply for refund by 'cancelling' flight on MakeMyTrip with reason 'airline cancelled trip'. I did as informed and then booked another ticket to complete my travel (replacement ticket also booked via MakeMyTrip).
MakeMyTrip did not cancel my *st ticket & in absence of no action, AirAsia rescheduled my *st ticket (AirAsia or MakeMyTrip, neither of them called/SMS/Email me about revised itinerary. In fact I came to know about this just few days ago when I checked my luggage tags).
Coincidently, the flight that I had booked via replacement ticket was same as rescheuled ticket.
Now, MakeMyTrip is saying that since I had already completed my travel on *st ticket booked & hence can't ask for any refund. They are not accepting mistake that whole confusion started because they did not initiate cancellation (which I filed basis AirAsia's advice) and had that processed, the situation would not have arisen.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
