air asia airlines - Refund not issued

I have booked the flight tickets for me and my wife from Osaka to Bangkok on **th June **** through air asia. After * months on *th September **** my flight was cancelled by the airline. Now with just * month remaining in my trip all other flights were very expensive and thus I requested refund from the airline. however, i have not yet received my refund and my money got stuck with the arilines for ho long I dont know. Flight cancellation during COVID-** can be justified but now it is not justified to sudenly cancel the flight and hold the money for a very long time.
