Gurpreet Singh filed complaint against Makemytrip on May 23, 2020
I had booked the flight ticket through Makemytrip for journey from Bangalore to Delhi amounting to Rs. *****. Later I wanted to cancel the ticket however there was no option available on Makemytrip website to cancel the ticket. Hence, I contacted the airlines to cancel the ticket. On my request they cancelled the ticket and informed me that they have refunded Rs. ***** to Makemytrip on ** May. However, there has been no update from Makemytrip on the same till date and the customer support of Makemytrip is also not responding. I am attaching the confirmation of cancellation by airlines and also the transcript of chat with airlines customer support which proves that they refunded the amount to Makemytrip. However, Makemytrip website doesn't show the ticket to be cancelled nor are they responding to requests. Tried contacting customer support also by chat, call as well as email but all worthless. Infact, when I sent the mail they closed the case saying they tried contacting on my number whereas, my number was working whole time and I did not get any call from Makemytrip. Please help me in getting the refund as its a big amount for me.
