Rakesh Routhu filed complaint against Agoda Booking on Oct 3, 2023
I Booked a hotel accomodation for my recent trip to Vizag in the following dates from Agoda travel platform.
Dates: **th Sept, **PM to *nd Oct, **PM
Price quoted in the site: Rs ****.**
When I arrived at the hotel on **th Oct, the hotel owner had not allowed me to check in at **PM for the price Rs ****.** and said that the was the technical issue with Agoda team or have some miss understanding since they are very new to Agoda platform and established the hotel facility in sept **** itself.
I called to phone number +** *** *** **** that was mentioned in the email Id that I was attached above.
The number was connected to customer service of OYO (surprised, I called to number that was in the email), and they said to pay Rs **** at hotel and check in at **PM, **th Oct.
As suggested, I paid at hotel and checked in **PM, **th Oct since I do not have any other option at that time.
I request Agoda platform to review the case and provide the compensation for the bad service & inconvenience.
I paid Rs ****.** at Agoda platform & Rs **** cash at hotel, Paid twice. I request you to please refund the amount Rs **** since it is not mistake & communication gap between you and hotel owner.
Pls review below and share the compensation for the bad service & bad tie up with hotel seascape even they are not registered hotel in general. (This is different case that you had tie up with hotels without proper registrations and who are not paying GST to Govt)
Hotel was not provided included breakfast as mentioned in the booking ID.
Hotel had provided me very small room that was not same as showed in the pictures (attached video)
Hotel was new and not professional to serve the customers and not kids friendly as well. My kid was fallen from steps & got injured (attached video)
