We went to Opulentus gachibowli branch in SLN Terminus and met Ms Ms Vaishnavi (on **********) and Mr kishore (***********). We wanted to move to Canada so requested the PR processing service on **.**.**** and paid them INR **,*** with details (Order - OOC****** CCAvenue Reference - ************). Kishore used his laptop to fill the details & gave me his laptop to make payment using credit card. Since **.**.**** was sunday, so on next working day **.**. ****, I have called & sent email to initiated the cancellation on medical grounds. I have not accepted or signed any document to start the processing. After multiple follow up, I got an acknowledgement from the company email (divergence@opulentuz.com) on **.**.****. On **.**.**** they again sent an email to initiate the cancellation process that may take ** days of time. After ** days, I was given a letter that money won't be refunded as per their policy.
I have also filed complaint to national consumer forum complaint number ****** & ******.
On **th July ****, we met Ms Dipti Nair (Head of Process) with the letter (attached) to provide all the details of the reasons of not able to proceed with the Visa processing. First of all it was not a personal reason as such but a serious medical cause, so on humanitarian grounds we took that decision. My mother-in-law was ICU for around ** days with critical condition (life support) and now survives with one lung. Doctors also mentioned that such critical situation can still arise again as the life support is on single lung. All the documentation was provided to prove the validity of the medical condition
Secondly, when we went to Opulentuz office to meet Mr Kishore, we were never told about such terms and conditions. He used his laptop to fill all the details and I just paid the money using credit card on the payment gateway. No such discussion was done, otherwise we would have definitely taken a step of not proceeding further. I have never accepted to move ahead with the process and on the next business day itself I made a request to refund.
On ** Sep ****, Divergence team of Opulentus (<divergence@opulentuz.com>) said that they never got the money, but I have got confirmation from American Express bank that the money was paid to them on May ****. They have made false claims and harrased to not return my hard earned money.
Our family cannot afford to lose such large amount without availing any service and signed or discussed any terms & condition. We want to formerly request you to reconsider our case and provide the refund. I have gone through lot of mental torture following up with them for the refund of my money. Please help to file this case.
