Shvitra k filed complaint against Make my trip on Jan 13, 2025
I have visited the hotel Jan *, also MMT supervisor had a conversation with the hotel.
The case what happened is as follows:
MMT spoke with the hotel on ** Dec (*hour after the booking was made from my end), hotel verbally got confirmed for a refund on special case. ** Dec MMT has written emails to incorrect email ids which was not the hotels.
I have been following up this issue with mmt everyday from ** Dec. Everyday MMT was writing an email to the incorrect email id.
On ** Dec is when hotel got their first email from MMT, which is after the check in date(**th Dec), so they denied the refund.
It is on MMT that they have not contacted the correct concerned person or email, failing to provide my refund.
When hotel was ready for refund, because of your mistake I haven’t got my refund from hotel. It is your responsibility to provide it for me.
This mistake was not identified by your team too, only after I reached hotel on jan * I found the fault in the communication between your team and hotel.
I’ve been following up this issue for almost two weeks now, it has taken over my mental health and has costed me my time.
I’ve made almost **+ calls over * weeks trying to follow up with makemytrip on call and email, I’ve had financial damage of my booking amount, travel expenses to the property on Jan *, extra charge(*.*k) that I had to pay to the property I wanted to do booking in because of late booking. Most of everything mentally have exhausted my energy with the calls and trying to get response from makemytrip team, and their response is on we’ll ensure to resolve within *-* days where as no response was provided for * days from Jan *.

My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
