Makemytrip - Refund denied by Makemytrip

I had booked a flight via MakeMyTrip app. l had cancelled it since it’s refundable.
There are * things:
*. The ticket does not mention that the ticket is not refundable when cancelled before *-*** days. It even shows the cancellation charges which implies that there will be a refund due to cancellation.

*. While requesting for cancellation the MMT team called me and told me that I will get a refund on my ticket with the amount that is refundable. If it was not refundable I would have never cancelled my ticket.

Please note that it’s is a complete communication on part of the MMT Team both on the website and the cancellation team about the airline policy which should be visible while booking the tickets in the first place and also in the tickets emailed as well.
