Apple - Refund declined

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Denial of Refund for Unused Microsoft *** Subscription

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the refund of my Microsoft *** subscription, which was purchased through the Apple App Store.

The subscription amount of ₹*,*** was charged to my account. Shortly after the purchase, I cancelled the subscription because I no longer required it. The subscription was cancelled almost immediately, and I did not use any of its services or benefits.

After contacting Apple Support, I was initially informed that my refund had been processed, and I was even provided with a refund reference/transaction ID. However, it was informed to me in later interactions that my refund request is denied, And I was asked to contact microsoft support but they could not issue the refund because the purchase had been made through Apple.
As a customer, I should not be left without a remedy due to internal policies between Microsoft and Apple. I acted promptly by cancelling the subscription, did not use the service, and made every reasonable effort to resolve the matter through customer support.
