I referred a friend to Swiggy on May *rd, ****, who placed an order using my referral code the same day. The referral was acknowledged as successful in my account, and as per the terms, the cashback should have been credited within ** hours. However, even after allowing the maximum stipulated time of ** hours, the cashback was not credited.
I reached out to Swiggy’s customer support via email on May **th. They responded on May **th, stating that my concern was being transferred to the relevant team and would be addressed within ** hours. After receiving no further communication, I emailed them again on May **th and contacted the Grievance team as well. The Grievance team asked me to wait another ** hours in their reply on May **th. This pattern of being asked to wait additional **-hour periods continued with emails exchanged on May **st, **rd, **th, and **th.
On May **th, after yet another promise of resolution within ** hours, I waited until June *th before reaching out again due to no updates. The normal support team closed the case on June *th claiming it was resolved, but it was not. I attempted to contact the Grievance team again on June **th; they responded with an unnecessary request for my mobile number despite all communications being through my registered email.
As of today, June **th, there has been no resolution or credit of the promised referral cashback. The lack of response and closure of my case without resolution is highly disappointing and unprofessional.
