Devanshu Shrivastava filed complaint against OYO Rooms on Mar 12, 2020
I booked a hotel for Nainital with ID- PVCS**** for * nights with full payment of Rs **** online at *:**PM, At *:**PM, I received a mail for information of re-shifted my hotel to another hotel with extra amount of Rs. ****/- remaining (Oyo shifted my booking to another hotel without my permission). I called the oyo assistant no. recieved at the time of booking for clarification. He checked the details & said "you don't need to pay that extra amount, as you have already paid full amount of Rs ****/-. But Next day, when I reached the Hotel, I came to know that I have to pay that extra charged me extra amount. When i called to oyo support they said, "I told them for re-shifting to another hotel, so you have to pay, when I asked about proof, they were showing me documentations created by them only. After heavy discussion they said we will check all call recordings, if I requested for shifting or not. But whenever I call customer care they always repeats the same thing.
