Amazon - Product cancelled after out for delivery

I ordered oneplus nord CE on **th June in preorder sale and it was one of my dream phone and replacement for previous broken phone.
On **th June, the status was out for delivery, I called to delivery boy several times to reconfirm but he did not pick up the call. After that I called Amazon customer care service because I was afraid that they will cancel my order or will not deliver as I had faced this previously also. But customer executive assured me that my order will be delivered today. Also provided me courier facility contact detail so that I can track my order with delivery boy.
I contacted courier facility and they assured me that my order will be delivered by * PM today. But when I checked the order status at * PM, it said your order is returning to seller because it was damaged.
This makes me mentally unstable, they kept my **k for more than a week, will may refund during a week from today, stock for this phone is not available and not sure when it will be available. My waiting and emotion associated with this is all thrashed. I want compensation for this and replacment of my order.
