Stephen John filed complaint against Amazon on Jul 2, 2021
I made an application on Amazon app for ICICI credit card which promoted their bank. All offers and everything Amazon provides just promoted ICICI. Anyway, moving on. On June ** ****, I applied for a credit card and the application was glitchy due to which my PAN Card details were captured incorrectly. However, the agent on the video call mentioned that an agent would come to my place to collect documents, which the agent came and collected all my personal documents and also clicked pictures of my documents and my picture too. Its been more that too weeks and no information from Amazon and nor from ICICI. Moreover, the application still shows documents pending and followed up with Amazon regarding this issue with complaint number **********, also tried to contact ICICI. However Even though multiple follow ups made, no revert, no mails and also no calls received from wither of them and my worries started to pile up. I was getting into depression worrying my information might be used for wrong purposes and I could be a victim of identity fraud. Moreover, according to the amazon agent, he mentioned that complaint number can't be shared as its against the amazon policy violation. This are getting tensed and my tension and worry is escalating too. Please take immediate action.
