Hello,
This email is regarding my Redmi Note * with imei : ***************. My Cust id is ******* and Service Record number is *******.
The handset's touch panel (only touch panel) was broken. The Lcd was working fine. The phone was working perfectly fine.
I sent the handset on ** October ****, the collection form says that you have collected the handset in working condition. The handset was sent just to replace the Lcd.
I got a call first to tell me that they have checked and the motherboard is water logged and they need to replace motherboard and Lcd. The estimate given was around ****/- so it was ***/- above the insured sum. I requested to do it under insurance and I would pay the processing fees (**% of ****/- i.e. ***) + the extra ***/- over and above the sum insured. They refused to do so.
I said fine then send the handset back as it is. Later I got a call to confirm if I want to go ahead with the repair, I told them in straight words "If you can replace both motherboard and Lcd and take the amount above sum insured (***/-) or if you can replace only Lcd, only then repair it, Otherwise send it back in working condition". At that time I asked them if the phone is working as of now. They said " Yes". So I asked them "Not to do anything and send the handset back in working condition".
They did not listen, tried to clean the motherboard and the motherboard is now dead. I have received the handset today " **Th November ****" almost a month after I sent it, that too in Dead condition. I cannot tell how frustrated and angry I am to see this. I asked you guys to "Not do anything and send the handset back in working condition" and on the Service Record form I can see "Inspection remarks : ....tried to clean but it's got dead".
I will just ask " Why did you have to do anything to do to a working motherboard??"
This is the most pathetic experience for me "Ever". I Need The Handset To Be Working. Either Make This Handset Working OR Give Me A Handset That Is Same (" Here same means same make model and configuration). I Am Even Ok With A Refurbished Handset With * Months Warranty. But It Should Not Be A Trouble And In Repair All The Time.
I need a positive solution for this As Soon As Possible. I have been without a proper working handset for about a month, cant do without a handset now.
