Pepperfry - Pepperfry refusing manufacturing defect replacement

I purchased two coffee tables from Pepperfry with marble top:

*. Kinzer Solid Wood Cafe Table In White Finish By Bohemiana
However just after *-* months the marble top completely started showing oil marks. I called Pepperfry who sent their carpenter agent. The agent verified it is a manufacturing defect and Pepperfry will replace the items. However after doing multiple follow-ups with customer service, Pepperfry said the manufacturer says this is user generated oil marks despite the fact that their own agent certified this is a manufacturing defect. Completely frustrated with Pepperfry for mentioning the warranty on the product on their website and then plain refusing to honour it. Attaching photos.
