Pepperfry - Pepperfry not accepting return on oversized item

We ordered * double scone lights from pepper fry totaling rs *****. They were * full inch larger than the size specified on the website and therefore we were unable to install them. We are trying desperately to get the products returned but pepper fry officials are making us run around and are not accepting responsibility at all.
