Prasanth Venkata Hanumanth Movva filed complaint against PayTM on Sep 24, 2018
I am an nri, currently staying in Varanasi for a short trip. I have opened PayTM account as I need to make a payment to another PayTM mobile number. I have transferred **** INR to my account from my nri bank account. When I try to send money from my PayTM account, it asks me to fill kyc. I have given the option to produce Passport since NRIs do not carry Aadhar card. However PayTM guy calls me now and says that they only accept Aadhar card and I cant take back money until its given.
Please help as there is no restrictions in opening account and transferring money into the account, while taking out money got weird rules. I questioned the paytm guy to apply rules consistently so that customers like me will not get trapped.
Please help asap.
