PayTM - Paytm account got hacked by someone else

Some unknown person hacked my account and withdrew all the money that was present in my paytm wallet. I complained on paytm customer service and as they looked into this issue they accepted that someone logged into my paytm account but they said that they can't do anything about it until or unless they have police permission.
This all happened when I didn't even shared any sort of detail or otp with anyone, even the internet of my phone was off that time.
If someone can so easily breach the security of paytm , then paytm should be held liable because they are not even taking any actions. If paytm is not even contacting police on their parts, then theives like this would keep on taking money from people wallet just by sitting in front of a computer screen.
