Agoda - Payment Deducted But Booking not made

I paid for * rooms/Night for * days in Jaipur via Agoda. They deducted the money from my card despite me selecting 'Book now, pay later'. INR ***** was deducted but neither did they provide me with a booking receipt/ticket nor I got a confirmation in my mail or phone. Returning from payment page It Said that Payment Not done please try again.. Upon calling up the hotel and asking them, I was told that I had no booking in my name for the said dates. I contacted Agoda via email to which they repeatedly replied that the email is wrong whereas I double-checked all the details very carefully before submitting. The page on Agoda.com redirected me to a payments page that mentioned RETAIL DOMESTIC PT as the Recipient whereas Agoda argues that they must be booked under the merchant name of Agoda. This is all from the official website and has cost me my peace of mind and not to mention precious money. Their calling process is automated which asks for a ticket ID to proceed on the first step which I am not provided with. What to do? Very Frustrated... Fraud company Agoda...
