I have ordered one Panasonic *.*-ton *-star Inverter Split Air Conditioner, **** Model (CS/CU-RU**XKYTA) White, dated April **th, ****. Delivery was scheduled for April **th,****. In a split AC, there are two separate units: indoor and outdoor. The delivery man delivered only the indoor unit on April **th, **** and said that the outdoor unit would be delivered in the next ** hours, but I had doubts about that. So I immediately requested a call from Amazon customer service and told them about the issue. As a solution, they said they have to raise a return request for the product, and once the return is done, they will issue the refund to me. They raised a return request on April **th, ****, but since the pick-up was not done by April **th, ****, and the pick-up guy did not visit my house, the request was cancelled by saying the customer refused to return. So, in this situation, I again asked Amazon Customer Service for a call, and I got a call from them. This time, Suman was there on call from Amazon Customer Service, and she looked into the matter and said that please wait for another ** hours for the pickup of the product. If the pick-up of the product is not done in the next ** hours, then she will raise the advance refund request and she will follow up regarding the same. On April **rd, ****, Suman made a follow-up call and the product was still not picked up, so she raised an advance refund request and said that in the next ** hours the refund initiation confirmation would be received. But after ** hours, when I contacted Amazon Customer Service, they said the refund request had been declined.
From all this, it can be concluded that Amazon Customer Service representatives are only making false promises. I have proof of all the conversations in the form of e-mails and recordings. Also, I want to add that the Delhivery (Delivery Partner) manager is not responding to the calls, and the executive only visited once for the pick-up but did not pick up the product. His way of talking was also very rude. I want strict action against them also.
I urge the Consumer Forum to investigate the issue and take strict action against Amazon.in and Delhivery (Delivery Partner). I also want the consumer forum to ask them to provide me with a refund as well as compensation for the frustration and inconvenience caused ASAP.
