Agoda - Paid for a Hotel Booking did nt get any further information and cannot contact Agoda

I had recently booked a Hotel Room from Agoda, giving them information like Names and email address.
After the payment I got a screen stating the booking has been done and the booking confirmation has been sent to the mail address. No further information was displayed. Till date, I have not received any mail from them.
Later, i tried using the mail Id to log in to their Account and they stated no bookings under this email address. Now this meant we had no proof of booking.

I have no means to contact them and no Booking Proof except Payment to Agoda using UPI and the name of the hotel i booked the Room from.
Ignoring the confirmation, we thought since the booking is done, we could get the room by stating our Booking Credentials (as in Names, since we did not have any other information) but no booking has been done. We had to book a different Hotel later for *x the price of any other hotel that one could book from reputable online Hotel booking domains (not Agoda). Not only we lost the Booking Money with no ways to contact them, we had to pay so much more.
