Amazon.in - Package not delivered within date committed

I had ordered OnePlus *T for which date of delivery was *rd Nov and I had to exchange my old phone against that.
On *rd Nov I didn't received the delivery and false claims were made that buyer cannot be contacted for non delivery.
The same thing happened on *th Nov
Both days product was shown out for delivery but was not delivered.
I regularly contacted their customer care no. For tracking my order and always got a false commitment of getting it delivered.
In this whole incident I had to sit back at home to get my old phone exchanged with new * so I don't have to sit back without phone. I didn't go for work , cancelled plans and in end was left with no phone delivered yet.
I want to claim compensation for the loss I have suffered because of this very unacceptable behavior of delivery agent and Amazon co.s back to back False commitments.
